D1F installation and recovery: concept composite
The foreground shows installation; the background illustrates a separate recovery stage. This AI composite references our own CAD render. The aircraft, canopy and mounting are conceptual, not a flight photograph or deployment validation.
D1F is a flat derivative of the upright D1 design. A small high-pressure gas cylinder sits horizontally beside the chamber. A single normally closed main valve feeds short passages in the base to drive a circular, shallow piston and parachute tray. The low-profile arrangement supports airframe packaging and center-of-gravity studies.
The piston remains captive, guided by sealing rings and two guide bands. The pack and a separate circular guide plate move upward as a membrane lid clears the opening. Cord routing, parachute load transfer and airframe mounting have separate interfaces, with provisions for pressure relief and servicing.
Product images and the 3D model show nominal CAD geometry; the application scene is an AI concept composite. Transparency is used only to explain the internal layout. Gas-source and valve selection, pressure containment, buffering and deployment remain unverified. Aircraft compatibility and total system weight are not yet defined.
