Drone water sampler
Lowered into the water beneath a drone, it seals a 430 mL water sample at the chosen depth.

Van Dorn-style depth sampling: both end caps are held open, and when triggered the latex tubing inside pulls them shut to seal the tube. The lower cap has a drain valve, so the sample can go straight into a sample bottle after recovery.
A stainless weight lets the sampler sink, and the frame is made of three stainless rods. Tube diameter, volume and trigger method can be adapted.
