HDPE floats and saddles combine with aluminum tube clamps and the skid landing gear; four ball-lock quick-release pins allow tool-free assembly and removal. Suited to aircraft working in the airspace over water, such as coastal patrol and offshore wind inspection.
Designed against galvanic corrosion in seawater and high-salt environments: EPDM liners between carbon tubes and aluminum clamps, nylon bushings between stainless pins and aluminum, and isolation washers at both ends of every screw. Float size can be scaled to the aircraft weight.
